Ightham
Village Hall is situated on Sevenoaks Road at the edge of the village. The recently
enlarged car park will hold forty cars.
Front
Entrance and Main Hall
The front
entrance is ramped for disabled access, the entrance hall includes ladies, gents
and disabled toilets, plus a separate chair store. There is a stage at one end
of the main hall area, the fully equipped kitchen with a double width serving
hatch at the other. The hall will hold 100 persons seated in rows, 120 for dancing,
60 seated at tables.
Steps to one side
of the stage lead to a committee room, further store room with adjoining toilets,
for the disabled this area can be accessed from an outside entrance.
Lower
Hall
This area can be accessed
outside by steps near the main entrance, it can also be accessed inside the main
hall via steps positioned by the kitchen. Access to this area is not suitable
for disabled.
