Ightham has a large Recreation Ground with a Children's park, a Pavillion, a Football Pitch and Tennis Courts. The local Football club has its home ground here and the Pavillion has facilities for changing, showers and toilets. There are also two all-weather tennis courts with flood lighting and a club house. There is a picturesque Cricket Ground which is located on Tonbridge Road.

Ightham Football Club

For the first time in decades, Ightham first team have reached the final of the Kent Junior Cup (Section B) and this game will be played at Ashford Town FC (Homelands Stadium) on 20th April, 3pm kick off. Ightham Cricket Club
The Cricket Club plays village cricket through the season on Saturdays and Sundays, with considerable success in the League. The picturesque ground is situated on the Tonbridge Road, not far from the village centre.

ITC was founded in 1982 around the new public courts in the Recreation Ground. This is a friendly village tennis club with two all-weather courts with flood lighting and a club house. Borough Green Junior Football Club are looking for players of all ages - but in particular for our Under 10s teams next season (school year 5 as of Sept 2013) where we have two teams entered into the Crowborough League.
